Red (band)
Red is an American Christian rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2004. The band's lineup consists of Michael Barnes (vocals), Anthony Armstrong (guitar), and Randy Armstrong (bass). The band is known for its aggressive alternative metal sound, incorporating elements of hard rock, nu metal, and symphonic metal.
Red gained significant recognition with their debut album, End of Silence, released in 2006. The album featured singles such as "Breathe Into Me" and "Already Over," which helped them gain mainstream attention within the Christian rock scene and beyond. Their subsequent albums, including Innocence & Instinct (2009), Until We Have Faces (2011), Release the Panic (2013), Of Beauty and Rage (2015), Gone (2017), and Declaration (2020) further solidified their reputation.
