Polepy (Kolín District)

Polepy is a municipality and village in the Kolín District within the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It is located approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles) northeast of Kolín.

The municipality covers an area of roughly 12.41 square kilometers (4.79 square miles) and, as of 2023, has a population of approximately 600.

Polepy is primarily an agricultural village. The area is largely flat and part of the Polabí lowlands.

Historical records indicate the first written mention of Polepy dates back to the 13th century.
