Oz Zion

Oz Zion (Hebrew: עוז ציון, meaning "Might of Zion" or "Strength of Zion") is a Givat HaMatos East neighborhood of Jerusalem, located in East Jerusalem, considered a contested territory. The name reflects the area's status and Zionist aspirations for the region. The neighborhood has faced significant international controversy due to its location beyond the Green Line and is considered by much of the international community to be a violation of international law. The Israeli government disputes this and maintains that it has the right to build in all parts of Jerusalem.
