Osman Nuri Pasha (painter)

Osman Nuri Pasha (1855 – 1931), also known as Osman Nuri Ergin, was a Turkish painter and military officer. He is best known for his orientalist paintings, often depicting scenes of Ottoman life, military subjects, and landscapes.

Born in Istanbul, Osman Nuri Pasha pursued a military career, rising to the rank of Pasha (General). While serving in the military, he simultaneously cultivated his artistic talent.
