On the Road Again (Roy Wood album)

On the Road Again is the second solo studio album by British musician Roy Wood, released in 1979. It marked a departure from the more elaborate and orchestrated sound of Wood's previous work, particularly with Wizzard, leaning towards a more stripped-down, rock and roll and blues-influenced style. The album features Wood playing most of the instruments himself, with contributions from session musicians.

While not as commercially successful as some of Wood's earlier endeavors, On the Road Again showcased his versatility as a songwriter and musician. The album includes original compositions as well as cover versions of classic rock and roll songs. It is considered by some to be a more personal and raw expression of Wood's musical tastes. Despite a lack of significant chart success, the album remains a noteworthy entry in his discography, demonstrating a different facet of his artistic output.
