Omar Daf

Omar Daf (born February 12, 1977) is a Senegalese football manager and former professional player.

As a player, Daf primarily played as a defender, often featuring at right-back. He spent the majority of his club career in France, representing clubs such as RC Lens, Sedan, and Brest. He was known for his defensive solidity and work ethic.

Daf also represented the Senegal national team, earning over 50 caps and participating in major tournaments including the 2002 FIFA World Cup, where Senegal reached the quarter-finals, and several Africa Cup of Nations editions.

Following his playing career, Daf transitioned into management. He has managed various clubs in France, including Sochaux and Dijon, often navigating challenging situations and working with limited resources. He is known for his tactical approach and player development skills.
