Neil Clarke (editor)
Neil Clarke is an American science fiction and fantasy editor, publisher, and anthologist. He is best known as the editor and publisher of Clarkesworld Magazine, a Hugo and World Fantasy Award-winning science fiction and fantasy magazine.
Clarke founded Clarkesworld Magazine in 2006. The magazine is notable for its focus on original fiction and its availability online for free, supported by subscriptions and donations.
In addition to Clarkesworld, Clarke has edited numerous anthologies, including the Best Science Fiction of the Year series (Night Shade Books, 2016-present) and several themed anthologies such as Upgraded and Galileo's Middle Finger.
