Mugling

Mugling (also spelled Muglin) is a small town and bazaar (market center) located in central Nepal. It lies at the confluence of the Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers, and is situated within the Chitwan District of Narayani Zone. Mugling is a strategically important transportation hub as it marks the junction where the Prithvi Highway (connecting Kathmandu and Pokhara) intersects with the Mugling-Narayanghat Highway (connecting the Terai region to the hills).

Because of its location, Mugling serves as a major transit point for travelers and goods moving between different parts of Nepal. The town is known for its bustling commercial activity and its numerous shops and restaurants catering to travelers. The surrounding area is primarily rural, with agriculture as the main economic activity. Mugling also serves as a gateway to destinations like Chitwan National Park and Gorkha. The town has experienced significant growth in recent years due to its increased connectivity and economic importance.
