Mississauga—Malton (provincial electoral district)
Mississauga—Malton was a provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that existed from 1999 to 2018. It was located in the city of Mississauga, encompassing the Malton neighbourhood and surrounding areas.
Creation and Dissolution:
The riding was created in 1999 from parts of Bramalea—Gore—Malton, Mississauga North, and Mississauga West ridings as part of the province-wide restructuring of electoral districts to match the federal boundaries. It was dissolved in 2018 due to another redistribution of electoral districts, and its territory was largely redistributed into the ridings of Mississauga—Malton (federal riding which had identical boundaries at the time), Mississauga—Brampton South, and Brampton East.
Geography:
The district was primarily urban and suburban, characterized by a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial areas. Key landmarks within the riding included Pearson International Airport (partially), the Westwood Square Shopping Centre, and various industrial parks in the Malton area.
Demographics:
Mississauga—Malton was a diverse riding with a significant immigrant population. Common ethnic origins included South Asian (particularly Indian and Pakistani), Caribbean, and European backgrounds.

The riding was generally considered a Liberal stronghold during its existence. It was represented by the Liberal Party of Ontario for all five elections it existed.
