Miss Colombia (album)

Miss Colombia is the second studio album by Colombian-American singer Kali Uchis, released on March 13, 2020, through Interscope Records and Virgin EMI Records. The album is primarily sung in Spanish, with some songs featuring English lyrics.

The album's title and overall concept are inspired by the 2015 Miss Universe pageant, where host Steve Harvey mistakenly announced Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutiérrez, as the winner before correcting himself and declaring Miss Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach, as the actual winner. Uchis has stated that the album explores themes of cultural identity, duality, love, and resilience, drawing inspiration from her Colombian heritage and experiences.

Miss Colombia incorporates a diverse range of musical genres, including Latin R&B, bolero, reggae, and dembow, blending traditional Latin sounds with contemporary pop and R&B influences. The album features collaborations with artists such as Rico Nasty, Jowell & Randy, and others.
