Mirikənd

Mirikənd is a village located in the Khojavend District of Azerbaijan. It is currently under the control of the unrecognized Republic of Artsakh. Historically, the village has been populated by Armenians, who refer to it as Mirik. The status of the village remains disputed following the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war. Prior to the war, it was administered as part of the Hadrut Province of the Republic of Artsakh. Information regarding the current demographic composition and infrastructure following the war is limited and often conflicting due to the ongoing political situation and restricted access to the area. Its economy was primarily agricultural.
