Mike Slattery (baseball)
Michael Joseph Slattery (born January 27, 1966) is a former professional baseball player. He played as a pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1990s.
Slattery was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 19th round of the 1987 MLB draft. He made his major league debut for the Cardinals on July 21, 1992. He played for the Cardinals in 1992 and 1993 before being traded to the Philadelphia Phillies. He played for the Phillies in 1994.
His MLB career statistics include a win-loss record of 1-4, with a 5.53 ERA, and 39 strikeouts over 52 appearances. After his MLB career, Slattery continued to play in the minor leagues.
