Mike Collier (American football)

Mike Collier is a former American football defensive back who played in the National Football League (NFL). Collier played college football at Alcorn State University, where he was a standout player. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the seventh round of the 1979 NFL Draft. Collier played for the Broncos from 1979 to 1981, primarily as a special teams player and reserve defensive back. After his time with the Broncos, he also played for the New York Giants in 1982. Collier's career in the NFL was relatively short but he contributed as a role player on special teams and in the defensive secondary. After his NFL career ended, he pursued other professional endeavors.
