Lauritsen (crater)
Lauritsen is a lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It is located to the south of the larger crater von Neumann, and northeast of the crater Skinner.
The rim of Lauritsen is somewhat eroded, and is overlain by several small craters. A small crater lies across the northwestern rim, and another is attached to the exterior along the southeast. The interior floor is relatively level, and is marked by a few small craterlets.
Lauritsen lies within the outer fringes of the South Pole-Aitken basin.
