Kepwick

Kepwick is a village and civil parish in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, England. It is located approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) east of Northallerton. The village is small and primarily agricultural.

The name Kepwick is of Old English origin, likely derived from "Ceoppa's wic," meaning "Ceoppa's farm" or "Ceoppa's settlement." The Domesday Book records Kepwick as Chepewic.

Historically, Kepwick was part of the wapentake of Birdforth. The population of the civil parish remains relatively small.
