Kartlewo

Kartlewo is a village in Poland, located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, within the Kartuzy County, in the commune of Sierakowice. It lies approximately 7 kilometers (4 miles) southwest of Sierakowice, 25 kilometers (16 miles) west of Kartuzy, and 53 kilometers (33 miles) west of Gdańsk. As of recent surveys, the population is relatively small, typical of rural villages in the area. The surrounding area is characterized by a landscape of forests and lakes, common features of the Kashubian region. Local economy is primarily based on agriculture and small-scale businesses. The village belongs to the historical region of Kashubia.
