KMTV Asia
KMTV Asia was a regional Southeast Asian pay television channel owned by Star TV and operated by CJ E&M. It primarily broadcast South Korean entertainment programming, including music shows, dramas, variety shows, and films, subtitled in various local languages. The channel aimed to cater to the growing popularity of Korean popular culture (Hallyu) within Southeast Asia.
KMTV Asia was a sister channel to other KMTV channels, like those in Korea itself. The programming focused largely on what was popular in Korea at the time. It served as a key distributor of K-pop and Korean dramas to a wider audience.
The channel ceased broadcasting on August 1, 2013, and was replaced by Channel M.
