Josh Shipp (basketball)

Josh Shipp (born February 16, 1986) is an American former professional basketball player. A 6'5" guard/forward, Shipp played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins from 2004 to 2009.

Shipp was a highly touted recruit out of Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, California. He played a key role on UCLA teams that reached the NCAA Tournament Final Four in 2006, 2007, and 2008. He was known for his scoring ability and defensive versatility.

After his college career, Shipp went undrafted in the 2009 NBA draft. He subsequently played professionally in Europe, including stints in Italy, Turkey, and France, and in the NBA Development League (now the NBA G League).
