John Bourke (Australian politician)

John Bourke (born 1830, died 17 November 1907) was an Australian politician who served in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly.

Bourke was born in County Tipperary, Ireland, and arrived in Australia in 1853. Prior to entering politics, he was a grazier in the Young district of New South Wales.

He represented the electoral district of Young in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1885 to 1894. During his time in parliament, he was a strong advocate for the interests of rural communities and agricultural industries. He was known for his independent stance and willingness to cross party lines on issues he felt strongly about.

He died in Ashfield, New South Wales.
