Jim Clack

Jim Clack (born January 15, 1947, died May 1, 2020) was an American professional football player. He was an offensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons, playing primarily as a center.

Clack played college football at Wake Forest University, where he was a standout player. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round of the 1969 NFL Draft.

He played for the Steelers from 1969 to 1978, during which time the team won four Super Bowls (IX, X, XIII, and XIV). Clack was a key part of the Steelers' offensive line that protected quarterback Terry Bradshaw and helped pave the way for running backs Franco Harris and Rocky Bleier.

After his playing career ended, Clack remained involved in the Pittsburgh community. He was inducted into the Wake Forest University Sports Hall of Fame.
