Jerry Stevenson (politician)
Jerry Stevenson (born November 8, 1956) is an American politician serving as a Republican member of the Utah Senate, representing District 21 since January 1, 2011. District 21 encompasses portions of Davis County, Utah.
Prior to his service in the Utah Senate, Stevenson served as a Davis County Commissioner for twelve years. He also served on the Utah Transportation Commission for eight years, and as its chairman for four years.
Stevenson is involved in various committees within the Utah Senate, often focusing on areas such as transportation, infrastructure, and economic development. He has sponsored and co-sponsored numerous pieces of legislation related to these areas during his tenure. His legislative priorities have often included issues related to transportation funding, water conservation, and economic growth in Utah.
