Jens Fiedler (cyclist)

Jens Fiedler (born 15 February 1975 in Dohna, Saxony, Germany) is a retired German track cyclist who specialized in sprint cycling. He is a multiple-time Olympic and World Champion.

Fiedler's career highlights include three Olympic gold medals: in the sprint at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, in the keirin at the 2004 Athens Olympics, and in the team sprint at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He also secured bronze medals in the sprint at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the keirin at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.

Furthermore, Fiedler achieved significant success at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships. He won the sprint title in 1995, 1998, and 1999. He also won the keirin title in 2003 and the team sprint in 2003. He earned multiple silver and bronze medals at the World Championships as well.

Fiedler retired from professional cycling in 2005. He remains a prominent figure in German cycling history and is recognized as one of the most successful German sprint cyclists of all time.
