Jacek Zieliński (footballer, born 1967)
Jacek Zieliński (born October 10, 1967) is a Polish former professional footballer and football manager. Primarily a defender, he was a key player for Legia Warsaw for many years, and also represented the Polish national team.
Career:
Zieliński started his professional career with Igloopol Dębica before moving to Legia Warsaw. He spent the majority of his playing career with Legia, becoming a captain and a mainstay in their defense. He won several Ekstraklasa titles (the Polish top division) and Polish Cups with the club. He was known for his strong tackling, aerial ability, and leadership qualities.
Zieliński also played for LKS Lodz before returning to Legia Warsaw for a second spell.
International Career:
