Isenach

The Isenach is a small river in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is a left tributary of the Rhine. The river rises in the Palatinate Forest near Carlsberg and flows generally eastward through Grünstadt before joining the Rhine at Frankenthal. The Isenach is approximately 36 kilometers (22 miles) in length. Historically, the Isenach powered numerous mills and supported local agriculture.
