Irv Maze

Irv Maze (1919-2013) was an American television director and producer, primarily known for his work on soap operas. He directed numerous episodes of Guiding Light and As the World Turns, and was a prominent figure in the genre for several decades. Maze began his career in radio before transitioning to television. He was recognized for his experience and steady hand in directing complex, multi-camera daytime dramas. His contributions helped shape the visual style and storytelling conventions of daytime television. In addition to his directing work, Maze also occasionally served as a producer on certain projects.
