Ilanit
Ilanit was the stage name of Hanna Dresner-Tzakh (Hebrew: חנה דרזנר-צח; born September 17, 1947, in Warsaw, Poland, and immigrated to Mandatory Palestine as an infant), an Israeli singer popular in the 1970s and 1980s.
Ilanit represented Israel twice in the Eurovision Song Contest. First, in 1973 with the song "Ey Sham" (Somewhere) where she finished in fourth place. She later represented Israel in 1977 with the song "Ahava Hi Shir Lishnayim" (Love is a Song for Two), finishing in eleventh place. She was the first Israeli artist to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Prior to her solo career, she was a member of the duo Ilan & Ilanit, together with Shlomo Tzach, whom she later married. The duo was successful in Israel in the late 1960s. Following the duo's disbandment, Ilanit embarked on her solo career, becoming one of Israel's most recognizable and successful singers.
Ilanit is known for her melodic voice and wide vocal range. Her repertoire includes a variety of genres, including pop, folk, and ballads. She released numerous albums throughout her career and remains a significant figure in Israeli music history.
