Hugh Davidson (cricketer)

Hugh Davidson (born 20 October 1937) is a former Australian cricketer. He played first-class cricket for Tasmania from 1956 to 1965. A right-handed batsman, Davidson scored 1,157 runs in 32 first-class matches, with a highest score of 108. He also occasionally bowled right-arm medium-pace. His playing career largely coincided with a period when Tasmania did not participate regularly in the Sheffield Shield competition, limiting his opportunities at the first-class level.
