Harry Green (Australian footballer)

Harry Green (born 13 January 1914, died 24 June 1978) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Carlton in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1930s and 1940s.

Green, a rover, joined Carlton from Preston Methodists. He debuted in the 1935 VFL season. He played 103 games for Carlton and was a member of their 1938 VFL premiership team, playing at half forward in the Grand Final victory over Collingwood. He also finished second in Carlton's Best and Fairest award in 1941. Green served in the Australian Army during World War II. After the war, he returned to Carlton and played until 1945.
