Gordon Smith (American football)

Gordon Smith is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at the University of Minnesota, where he was a standout player. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 1991 NFL Draft. Smith played five seasons in the NFL, primarily for the Browns (1991-1994) and finishing his career with the Seattle Seahawks (1995). During his professional career, Smith was known for his speed and ability to stretch the field. His best season came in 1994 with the Browns, where he recorded 37 receptions for 622 yards and 4 touchdowns.
