Godovič

Godovič is a village in the Municipality of Idrija in the traditional Inner Carniola region of Slovenia. It is located west of Idrija, near the border with Italy.

Historically, the economy of Godovič was tied to agriculture and forestry, with some residents also working in the mercury mines of Idrija.

The village is situated in a hilly and forested area, characteristic of the Idrija region.

The parish church in Godovič is dedicated to Saint Gertrude and belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Koper.
