George Eaton (cricketer)

George Eaton (born 3 October 1868, date of death unknown) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler.

Eaton played first-class cricket for Derbyshire between 1896 and 1900. He made his debut in the 1896 season against Hampshire and played eight matches that season. He played four matches in 1897, three in 1898, and six in 1899. His final first-class match was in the 1900 season against Warwickshire.

Over his first-class career, Eaton played 21 matches, achieving a top score of 66 and an average of 12.60. He took 14 wickets with an average of 29.35, with his best bowling performance being 3 for 44.
