Frederick Wells (cricketer, born 1867)
Frederick Wells (1867 – date of death unknown) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire in 1893.
Wells was born at Derby. He made his debut for Derbyshire in the 1893 season against Lancashire when he scored 22 in the first innings. He played seven further matches that season, including a match against the touring Australians. His highest score was 44 against Sussex. Wells was a right-handed batsman and played 8 innings in 8 first-class matches with an average of 15.87 and a top score of 44. He did not bowl and did not take any catches.
