FC Motown
FC Motown is an American soccer club based in Morristown, New Jersey. Founded in 2012, the club currently competes in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), a nationwide semi-professional league considered the fourth tier of the American soccer pyramid.
FC Motown has achieved notable success in the NPSL, winning the league championship in 2017. The club has also made several appearances in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, a national knockout tournament involving teams from all levels of American soccer.
The team's name, "Motown," is a reference to Morristown's historical connection to the automotive industry, and specifically, a nod to the Detroit "Motown" sound. FC Motown is known for its strong local support and community involvement.
