Etomba

Etomba is a Bantu language spoken primarily in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It belongs to the Mongo group of languages, which are part of the larger Niger-Congo language family. Etomba is spoken by the Etomba people who reside in the central region of the DRC. Information regarding the number of speakers is scarce, but it is considered a smaller language within the region. The language shares similarities with other Mongo languages and contributes to the linguistic diversity of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Little documented linguistic research exists regarding the grammar, phonology, and vocabulary of Etomba, making it a relatively understudied language.
