Entrance Island (South Australia)
Entrance Island is a small, low-lying island located in the Spencer Gulf, off the coast of South Australia, near the entrance to Arno Bay. It is part of the Franklin Islands Conservation Park. The island is significant as a breeding site for seabirds, particularly the Australian Pelican and various species of terns. Its relatively undisturbed nature contributes to its importance as a refuge for these birds. Access to the island is restricted to protect the sensitive nesting environment.
