The alleged apparitions involved messages, primarily centered around the "Sign of the Cross of Love," a specific design of a cross with outstretched arms. These messages reportedly called for prayer, penance, and conversion. The messages associated with Dozulé have garnered a following, and a large cross has been erected on the site where the apparitions allegedly occurred.
The Catholic Church has not formally recognized the Dozulé apparitions as authentic. The local bishop has expressed caution and skepticism, and the matter remains a topic of discussion and devotion within certain Catholic circles. While not officially endorsed, private devotion and pilgrimages related to the alleged events continue. The Association of the Holy Cross of Dozulé continues to promote the messages associated with the apparitions.
