Doug Belk

Doug Belk is an American football coach. He is currently the co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach at the University of South Carolina. Previously, Belk served as the defensive coordinator at the University of Houston from 2019 to 2022. Prior to Houston, he held various defensive coaching positions at West Virginia University, Valdosta State University, and Alabama. He is known for his aggressive defensive schemes and his ability to develop defensive players. His coaching career has seen success in both the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and Division II levels of college football.
