Dawg (film)

Dawg is a 2002 American comedy film directed by Kevin Smith, under the pseudonym "Alan Smithee". The film stars Denis Leary as Douglas "Doug" Munford, a wealthy and misogynistic businessman who is cursed by a scorned woman and turned into a dog. Elizabeth Hurley co-stars as Anna Lockheart, the woman who casts the curse.

The plot revolves around Doug's attempts to break the curse, forcing him to experience life from a canine perspective. He must learn empathy and change his ways to revert back to human form. The film is known for its crude humor and satire. Despite being directed by Smith (under a pseudonym), Dawg is often considered one of his least successful and most critically panned projects.
