Dave Morgan (racing driver)

Dave Morgan (born August 7, 1944, Cranmore, Somerset, England – died November 11, 2018, Littlehampton, West Sussex, England) was a British racing driver known primarily for his success in Formula Three and Formula Two during the 1970s. He was a prominent figure in British motorsport during that era, consistently challenging for race wins and championships.

Morgan began his racing career in club events before progressing to Formula Ford, where he demonstrated considerable talent. He quickly moved through the ranks, finding success in Formula Three. It was in Formula Three and later Formula Two that he established himself as a highly competitive and respected driver.

He contested several seasons in Formula Two, achieving multiple victories and consistently finishing near the top of the championship standings. Despite his success in lower formulae, Morgan never made a significant impact in Formula One, failing to qualify for the 1975 British Grand Prix with Surtees.
