DJ Mam's
DJ Mam's (born Kader Aflak in Marseille, France, December 20, 1975; died July 13, 2016) was a French DJ and music producer known for his fusion of electronic music with North African Raï music. He gained prominence in the early 2010s with tracks that incorporated traditional Maghrebi sounds, particularly the Algerian flute (gasba), with modern dance beats. DJ Mam's achieved significant popularity in France and parts of North Africa for his distinctive sound.
His hit singles included "Zumba He Zumba Ha," which became a summer anthem and helped popularize the Zumba dance craze in France. He frequently collaborated with other artists from the French and North African music scenes.
DJ Mam's tragically passed away at a relatively young age, cutting short a promising career that blended musical genres and celebrated his cultural heritage. His music continues to be played and remembered for its energetic rhythms and unique combination of traditional and contemporary sounds.
