Crumpsall
Crumpsall is a district and electoral ward of Manchester, England. It lies approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) north of Manchester city centre, bordered by Blackley to the north, Cheetham Hill to the south, Higher Blackley to the east, and Prestwich (in the Metropolitan Borough of Bury) to the west.
Historically part of Lancashire, Crumpsall developed from a rural township into a residential suburb following the Industrial Revolution, driven by its proximity to Manchester and the availability of land.
Crumpsall is known for its Victorian and Edwardian architecture, particularly along Crumpsall Lane. North Manchester General Hospital, a major healthcare facility, is located in Crumpsall.
The area is served by several primary and secondary schools. Transport links include bus routes connecting it to Manchester city centre and surrounding areas. Crumpsall also has a Metrolink station on the Bury line.
