Craig Hill (New York)

Craig Hill is an American politician and businessman from New York State. He served as a Republican member of the New York State Senate, representing the 48th Senate District, which encompassed all of Cayuga, Oswego, and Seneca counties, and portions of Wayne and Onondaga counties.

Hill was first elected to the State Senate in 2002. Prior to his service in the Senate, he served as a member of the New York State Assembly, representing the 131st Assembly District.

During his tenure in the Senate, Hill served as Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Agriculture. He also served on various other committees, including Finance, Rules, and Environmental Conservation.

Hill was a strong advocate for upstate New York, focusing on issues such as agriculture, economic development, and property tax relief. He often supported measures aimed at reducing the burden on farmers and promoting job growth in rural communities.

In 2017, Hill resigned from the State Senate to take a position in the private sector.
