Canyon Creek (California)

Canyon Creek is an unincorporated community in Butte County, California. It is located in the Sierra Nevada foothills, approximately 13 miles (21 km) northeast of Oroville. Canyon Creek is situated near the South Fork Feather River, and its name is derived from the numerous canyons and creeks in the surrounding terrain. The area is characterized by rugged terrain, forests, and recreational opportunities such as hiking, fishing, and camping. Historically, the area was associated with logging and mining activities. Canyon Creek is part of the Oroville Micropolitan Statistical Area.
