Bryan Cooper (politician)

Bryan Cooper (1884 – 1930) was an Irish politician. He served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for South County Dublin in the United Kingdom House of Commons from 1906 to 1910 as a member of the Irish Unionist Alliance. After World War I, he became involved in Irish politics after independence. He served as a Teachta Dála (TD) in Dáil Éireann from 1923 to 1930, initially representing the Cumann na nGaedheal party (1923-1927), and subsequently representing the Farmers' Party (1927-1930). He was known for his oratory skills and his advocacy for agricultural interests. Cooper was also a landowner in County Sligo.
