Bob McKenzie (footballer)

Bob McKenzie (born 28 April 1959) is a former Scottish professional footballer who played as a midfielder.

Career

McKenzie began his professional career with Partick Thistle, making over 100 league appearances for the club between 1978 and 1983. He moved to Airdrieonians in 1983, where he also spent a significant portion of his career, playing until 1987. Following his time at Airdrie, McKenzie joined Dumbarton, contributing to their squad before moving on. His later career included spells with Queen of the South, East Stirlingshire and Albion Rovers.

Playing Style

McKenzie was known as a hard-working and reliable midfielder. He was often praised for his consistent performances and contribution to team play.
