Bellamy (TV series)
Bellamy, also known by its German title Der Kommissar, was a West German television crime drama series that aired from 1969 to 1976 on ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen). The series starred Erik Ode as Kommissar Herbert Keller, a police detective in Munich.
The show was notable for its realistic portrayal of police work and its focus on character development. Each episode typically centered on a complex murder investigation, showcasing the meticulous methods and psychological insights used by Keller and his team. The team included assistants Walter Grabert (Günther Schramm), Robert Heines (Reinhard Glemnitz), and Harry Klein (Fritz Wepper), who later became the central character in the spin-off series Derrick.
