Belinda (Belinda Carlisle album)

Belinda is the debut solo album by American singer Belinda Carlisle, released in 1986 on I.R.S. Records. The album marked Carlisle's departure from her previous role as the lead vocalist of the new wave band The Go-Go's, which had disbanded in 1985.

The album was a commercial success, achieving platinum certification in the United States. It features a pop rock sound, distinct from The Go-Go's more new wave-oriented style.
