Bachelor in Paradise (Canadian TV series) season 1

Bachelor in Paradise (Canada) Season 1 premiered on May 8, 2023, on Citytv. It is a spin-off of The Bachelor Canada and The Bachelorette Canada and part of the larger Bachelor franchise.

The season featured former contestants from previous seasons of The Bachelor Canada and The Bachelorette Canada, as well as some American Bachelor franchise alumni, all looking for a second chance at love in a tropical setting. Filmed in Nicaragua, the show followed the contestants as they coupled up (or failed to) during weekly rose ceremonies. Contestants who did not receive a rose were eliminated. New singles were introduced throughout the season, disrupting established relationships and creating drama.

The first season was hosted by Jesse Jones.

The aim of the show was for the contestants to find a lasting relationship and potentially leave Paradise as a couple.
