Armistice (band)
Armistice was an Australian alternative rock band formed in Melbourne, Victoria, in 2007. The band's lineup consisted of Jade MacRae (vocals, keyboards), Matt McGuire (guitar, vocals), Peter Lawlor (bass), and Steve "Tramp" Trafford (drums).
Armistice released one studio album, Figurines, in 2012. The album was preceded by the singles "Golden", "Sun", and "Figurines". "Golden" gained significant airplay on Australian radio stations.
The band's sound blended elements of alternative rock, indie pop, and electronica, often featuring MacRae's distinctive vocals and layered instrumental textures. Armistice garnered a following for their live performances and atmospheric sound.
Armistice officially disbanded in 2013. Members have since pursued other musical projects. Jade MacRae continues a solo career as a singer and songwriter.
