Apollon (Formula One)

Apollon was a Formula One constructor from Italy that participated in a single Grand Prix in the 1995 season. The team was founded by Adriano Morini and its car, designated the Apollon 1001, was designed by Mario Tollentino. The car was powered by a Ford Cosworth HB engine.

The Apollon team entered the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, driven by Marco Apicella. However, the team faced severe financial difficulties and the car was not ready for the pre-qualifying session. Apicella was unable to take to the track, and the Apollon team withdrew from the event and Formula One altogether, marking a short and ultimately unsuccessful foray into the sport.
